Primary Years Programme (PYP)

The King’s School has been an authorised PYP School since 2009. The PYP framework represents best educational practice and enables us to teach all national and state curricula requirements within a transdisciplinary model. King’s is a Christian school which seeks to make an outstanding impact on society. Within our PYP units of inquiry the associated NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority) outcomes have been identified, developed and meaningfully incorporated. In this way, NESA requirements are central to our international focus. All students learn Mandarin Chinese through a cultural lens, with a focus on the stories and traditions of China. King’s is committed to lifelong learning and we strive to be outstanding through the quality of our teaching and learning.
