The Senior School Director of Student Care and Experience is a member of the Senior School Management Team (SSMT), reporting through the Deputy Principal, Head of Senior School, to the Principal. The position is one of four Academic Directors in the Senior School. The Director roles are committed to academic excellence, holistic wellness and directly responsible for leading and developing strong teaching, learning and caring programs within the Senior School.

  • Must provide a current Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) prior to commencement.
  • Must provide an Australian Police Check prior to commencement.

The position
The Senior School Director of Student Care and Experience is a member of the Senior School Management Team (SSMT), reporting through the Deputy Principal, Head of Senior School, to the Principal. The position is one of four Academic Directors in the Senior School. The Director roles are committed to academic excellence, holistic wellness and directly responsible for leading and developing strong teaching, learning and caring programs within the Senior School.

Promoting the individual development of all students within a collaborative and integrated learning community, the Director – Student Care and Experience will focus on the learning and wellbeing journey of our students and actively contribute to the development and support of our students, in terms of their learning, wellbeing and co-curricular pursuits.

It is expected that the Senior School Director- Student Care and Experience will lead the team of expert Heads of House, Psychologists, Counsellors and Nurses to ensure that all students flourish at CGGS.

The School’s beautiful new Student Hub co-locates Heads of House and the Inclusive Learning and Enrichment team to create a strong platform for case management of student needs. The Hub also includes the office for the Senior School Director – Student Care and Experience and a Student Hub Reception Area.
