Leading the implementation, development, and day-to-day management of the IB Middle Years Programme (years 7-10) and ensuring compliance with IB standards, this role is essential in facilitating pedagogical leadership, teacher collaboration, curriculum planning, and professional development.

Scots College is seeking an energetic and experienced person to lead the management and delivery of the IB Middle Years Programme.  This is a permanent, full-time appointment commencing Term 1 2027.

The College is fully authorised for the delivery of the Diploma, Middle Years and Primary Years programmes. For our senior students we offer dual pathway options of NCEA or Diploma. The College has recently successfully completed its second five-year IBO evaluation.  Feedback from this acknowledged our strong leadership, and quality teaching and learning, along with noting that we are a school that is living out its mission.

To apply for this position, you will ideally have had considerable experience in the delivery and management of the IB Middle Years Programme and be well used to working in a dynamic environment where the wellbeing of the students is paramount.  You will be fully involved in all aspects of College life and pursue excellence in all you do.
