The opportunity

Radford College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Science teacher, with expertise in Physics, to join the Secondary School team in a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 3, 2026.

About you

The successful candidate will be an energetic educator who is motivated by thinking differently about teaching and learning and who is driven by the creation of engaging and dynamic learning experiences for our students. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to:

  • teach Years 7 – 10 Science and Senior Physics.
  • Foster engaging, dynamic, and inclusive learning environments

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Manage time and responsibilities effectively
  • Participate in pastoral and co-curricular programs, including student wellbeing initiatives, camps, and excursions

Qualifications

  • Teaching qualification recognised by the ACT Education Directorate
  • Maintain registration as a teacher with the Teacher Quality Institute, including WWVP
  • Current First Aid Certificate
