French Teacher

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated professionals for the part time, fixed term position of French Teacher, based at our Kew campus commencing Term 1, 2021. This position is currently part time (0.6FTE) with time fraction subject to change.

Responsible to the Leader of Learning, this Secondary Teaching position aims to engage and motivate all students in the concepts of the French Language. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellence in their teaching, together with high level skills in the use of technology in the teaching, and learning process.

French is widely spoken around the world including in North America, North and West Africa as well as in several European countries. A language study tour to France is offered every two years and students studying at Years 10 and 11 are eligible to participate. we recognise that students study language for different reasons and have a range of aptitudes and skills, so we try to cater for all their different needs.

A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment for this position.
