IES College is located in Spring Hill, Brisbane and has been educating young people for more than twenty years to prepare them for study at The University of Queensland. IES College is excited to offer a new addition to our services by opening our International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme school offering years 11 & 12 commencing in 2021.
The Role:
International Education Services (IES) is looking for a dynamic and passionate educator to join the senior team as Founding Principal of IES College, offering the IB Diploma Programme commencing January 2021.
The right person will be experienced in the delivery and management of senior secondary education, ideally including the IB Diploma Programme. They will also have experience in providing educational leadership within an Australian, preferably Queensland, environment.
IES College will offer a co-educational, secular, independent senior school option to international and domestic students who aim to be active global citizens. The College strongly values diversity and inclusion and the ability to model and support these key values will be well regarded in any candidates for the role.
The Principal will be supported by the existing senior executive at IES College which has been delivering university pathway education to international students in Brisbane for 23 years. Learn more about IES College at www.iescollege.com.
As 2021 will be the first intake of the IB Diploma programme and a small initial student cohort is anticipated, there can be some flexibility in the working hours and the position maybe less than a full-time in the first year of operations. The Principal maybe required to teach a subject within their discipline of expertise.
