Sophia Mundi Steiner School is seeking an experienced, visionary educator with a breadth of curriculum knowledge and proven leadership skills to oversee the smooth and efficient function of our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.  Qualifications and experience working in either a Steiner or IB Diploma educational setting are warmly welcomed.

Commencement - Term 1, 2022

We are looking for an experienced teacher and leader who is prepared to commit to the challenging and rewarding task of guiding our senior students through the IB Diploma journey.  We seek teachers who are creative and engaging in the classroom and who can actively support Sophia Mundi’s ethos and values which foster a developmental, balanced, and global approach to teaching and learning. 

The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of the IB Diploma Programme and an interest in Steiner Pedagogy and Practices. The successful applicant will be supported to develop their professional understanding of Steiner pedagogy and philosophy and will demonstrate a commitment to performance development and professionalism in their work. 

Within our IB Programme at Sophia Mundi, we are advertising for both the IB Coordinator and IB History Teacher positions, which could be combined into a single position for the appropriate candidate.

Sophia Mundi Steiner School is an independent Steiner school located in the vibrant Abbotsford Convent Precinct.  We are situated adjacent to the Collingwood Children’s Farm on the banks of the Yarra River.
