The Friends’ School, Hobart, is an Early Learning to Year 12 coeducational residential and day school, under the auspices of The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). We provide quality and inclusive education and value integrity, community, equality, peace and justice.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher who inspires and engages students in the many facets of learning English.

 

Teacher of English – Years 7 to 10

(Full-Time - 6-month contract)

Developing proficiency in English enables students to become confident communicators, critical and imaginative thinkers, and lifelong learners. Students learn about language and literature through working with a wide range of print, spoken, visual, media, multimedia and digital texts. We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher to lead our students along the journey of seeking knowledge and understanding. This is a full time, temporary position, commencing in Term 3 (19 July 2021) until the end of the year, 10 December 2021.
