Radford College is looking for an IT End User Services Officer to give IT supports to our staff, students, and parents of the Radford College community.

The opportunity

The Information Technology Services (ITS) team manages and supports the College’s IT infrastructure. Within that, IT Operations provides support services to staff, students and parents, answering questions and dealing with issues to enable continuous access to and effective use of ICT resources.  We need the brightest brains and the friendliest personalities to help us achieve this, and an opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time IT End User Services Officer to join the team. About you

You are a confident self-starter who will enjoy building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College. With excellent communication skills, you have a strong customer-service focus and can be relied upon to work autonomously. In addition, you also:

  • Have sound knowledge of, and technical competency with Desktop application software (Microsoft Windows, OSX, IOS and Android)
  • Have sound knowledge of computer operating systems
  • Have a willingness to learn school systems (for example Synergetic, Seqta)
  • Demonstrate experience of hardware repair and fault diagnosis
  • Demonstrate a passion for collaborative working as a member of a high-functioning team, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to grow through the sharing of best practice and professional experience
  • Possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal, as well as excellent time management skills
  • Commit to the safeguarding and promotion of student welfare
  • Be reliable and punctual

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT related field are desirable.
