Position Summary:

The role of the Pre-Kindergarten Coordinator is to supervise grade colleagues and provide pedagogical leadership, in accordance with NSW NESA and IB Curricula, and to guide and support the staff in their Grade. This should be achieved using collaborative professional practice in both teaching and learning, to ensure that all students are given the best possible opportunity to learn.

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and experience and (or be working towards) post graduate qualifications in education or leadership.
  • Accreditation to teach with NSW NESA (or exemption from pre-2004) at Band 2 or 3. 
  • Proven track record of excellent classroom teaching in a School Setting
  • Experience of teaching and/or leading IB and NESA curricula.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work to deadlines. 
  • Proven ability to work as a constructive and creative member of a team with a professional, courteous manner. 
  • Intermediate-level skills using computer- based applications, including the MS Office Suite (Edge, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
