Pembroke is a co-educational, non-denominational school from the Early Learning Centre (ELC) to Year 12. An International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Pembroke offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and engaging teacher of Spanish. The successful applicant for this position will have Junior School teaching experience, have a passion for teaching Spanish within the Australian context, will be easily approachable and able to relate to students and parents. An understanding of, and experience in, the PYP will be well-regarded.
The Junior School Spanish Teacher is a part of our Junior School staff. The Junior School is an energetic, reflective and supportive environment that encourages professional growth. Our Junior School language programme develops students' knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes drawing upon the Australian Curriculum and the PYP. The Spanish Teacher works in collaboration with class teachers to facilitate contemporary and transdisciplinary learning.
