Calamvale Community College has an exciting opportunity for teachers in an International Baccalaureate World School - secondary phase.

Calamvale Community College is a P-12 College with 2400 students on a single campus.  There are 66 cultures represented at Calamvale Community College, over half the students are bilingual and many are mastering English language.  There is a strong focus on language across the College with Prep – 2 Mandarin Immersion program and Mandarin and Spanish offered elsewhere in the College.  Calamvale Community College is a truly P-12 College offering the International Baccalaureate programs in Prep – Year 6 and at Senior Level with IB Diploma.  We brand our students as curious, creative and clever with opportunities for diverse pathways across STEM, Arts, Humanities, Sport and community engagement

 Available roles:  
Successful candidates will be a person of character who is dedicated and passionate about education and 

  • must have or be eligible for, registration with the Queensland College of Teachers 
  • minimal two years' experience teaching in the subject area 
  • preferably has experience within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, but not essential
  • preferably a secondary teaching area, i.e English as an Additional Language 

 You must be an Australian Resident to apply or have Visa Rights to work in Australia. 

Location: Brisbane South

Contract:  Full time opportunity – 12 months with possibility of extension
