The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Executive support team for a permanent full-time Executive Assistant to the Principal commencing as soon as possible.

The Executive Assistant to the Principal ensures the smooth running of the Principal’s office and a small team of Administrators/Receptionists. The successful candidate will display a high degree of initiative and have a proactive attitude, providing superior executive support and initiatives in a range of duties and responsibilities.

About you

Displaying a high level of integrity and confidentiality, the successful candidate will have had extensive experience working in an office environment providing Executive support including diary management coordination and scheduling and using the MS Office suite extensively.  You will be a confident self-starter who displays excellent time management skills and enjoys building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College. Possessing excellent communication skills, and a strong customer-service focus you will be relied upon to work autonomously. Candidates must:

  • Be technically competent and confident (high proficiency) in the MSOffice suite including Excel, Teams, MSForms, and willing to learn school systems (for example Synergetic, Seqta and including Daily Organiser)
  • Demonstrate high level confidential administrative and secretarial support
  • Demonstrate a passion for collaborative working as a member of a high-functioning team, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to grow through the sharing of best practice and professional experience
  • Possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Commit to the safeguarding and promotion of student welfare
  • Be reliable and punctual

Qualifications

  • Experience in providing Executive support at a senior level
  • Minimum five years’ experience in providing superior Executive support
  • Advanced computer and technical skills including MS Office proficiency
  • Experience managing a complex diary
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration – Highly desirable
