About the role

This is an opportunity for a passionate, innovative Chinese Teacher to join a supportive and engaging work environment that fosters diversity, communication and professional growth.

The successful candidate will be an exemplary role model for students.  They will be responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning experiences that develop students as extraordinary learners, as well as ensuring professional compliance and supporting school policies / procedures.   

About you

The successful applicant will have an understanding of inquiry-based learning, the ability to engage students in higher order thinking and be experienced in integrating technology into teaching and learning.

Alongside the responsibility for ensuring professional compliance, supporting departmental policy and following school procedures and systems, the Chinese teacher should be committed to delivering quality teaching and learning experiences that develop students as extraordinary learners.

We are seeking someone with classroom experience, excellent communication and relationship building skills and the desire to work in a dynamic and changing environment. Knowledge of the Australian/NSW/IB curriculums would be advantageous. 

In addition, the successful applicant will have willingness and capacity to actively engage in the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School. 

The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain a paid NSW Working With Children Check as well as NESA registration, as requirements of this role.
