About IES:
IES College is an independent, secular, co-educational senior high school in the heart of Spring Hill in Brisbane, we value and celebrate diversity in our community. Our experienced teaching and professional staff work alongside our students with care and provide young people from diverse backgrounds and experiences with the skills and values to create positive change in the world. Our smaller school setting enables students to make positive contributions, to reach their potential, and to feel safe, supported and heard. Our highly qualified teaching and professional staff are passionate about working with students to build knowledge and experiences that will shape their characters and lives.

For over 20 years, IES College has successfully transitioned more than 10,000 students into their chosen undergraduate degrees at leading Australian universities.

Building on the success of our university preparation programs, we have expanded our education offerings to a senior high school program for year 10, 11 and 12 students. In an environment where diversity is embraced, the academic and experiential learning program will support, nurture and challenge students while preparing them for success in an increasingly complex world.

Our Year 11 and 12 students undertake the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The IB Diploma Programme curriculum holistically develops the whole student – balancing academic subjects with student led personal development through the CAS programme of creativity, activity and service and an individual research project which prepares students for university level study, all part of strengthening the students’ skills as responsible, independent learners.
