Suitably experienced and qualified applicants are invited to apply for a permanent part-time Creative Arts and Media Assistant role in the Creative Arts Department.  This position is required to work 30.4 hours or 4 days a week, term-time only.

About the role

Displaying a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently, the Creative Arts and Media Production Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day support provided to teachers within the Creative Arts Department, including preparation of materials for practical lessons and ordering of departmental supplies.  Applicants must be able to work cooperatively in a team specifically supporting the Head of Department and the Media Crew Coordinator.

Qualifications         

  • Experience in the Creative Arts (photography, film, digital art, media, visual arts)
  • Experience in or willingness to learn management and use of a range of professional photography and video equipment including editing, studio lighting and printers
  • Familiarity in working with a range of arts materials and media equipment
  • Technical capacity with tools and equipment
  • A solid knowledge of WHS requirements is required
  • Working with Vulnerable People card
