Carey Baptist Grammar School are currently accepting applications for the Leader of Learning - Science commencing Term 1, 2023.
The Leader of Learning - Science is a leader and facilitator supporting the Science Learning Area curriculum development. This role provides dynamic leadership within the Learning Area by successfully managing change and promoting Science within the School and the wider community.
Science at Carey aims to foster an appreciation of the wonder and beauty of Science. Our program equips students with the understandings and skills they need to become scientifically literate in a world that is increasingly dominated by, and dependent on, scientific innovation and discovery. Our teaching emphasises contextualised learning, collaboration and inquiry through research and experimentation in specialist laboratories serviced by a strong team of highly qualified laboratory staff.
Reporting to the Head of Instructional Teaching & Learning, you will work closely with your Learning Area and other subject area Leaders of Learning to deliver Carey’s Model for Positive Learning and to support excellence in teaching practice.
This is a full-time, permanent Science teaching position commencing Term 1 2023 and includes a five-year appointment to Leader of Learning - Science.

All teaching staff employed at Carey Baptist Grammar School must hold a valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration as a requirement of employment.
