Records and Archives Manager

Santa Sabina College is seeking to appoint a professional and experienced Records and Archive Manager to provide effective organisation, storage and management of the College physical and digital records in keeping with current legislation. They will also manage the preservation, conservation and restoration of archives of the College. This role reports to the Director of Business Services.

The successful candidate will:

 

  • support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College 
  • be a strategic, autonomous and collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams
  • demonstrate best practice in archive, retention and disposal processes
  • maintain necessary policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure the College records are well managed and protected
  • ensure all relevant legislative requirements are met in regards to record maintenance and archiving
  • maintain a records management manual that includes file codes, retention schedules, and other relevant indexes and logs
  • maintain a database to track physical records stored onsite to enable easy retrieval as required
  • continue to digitise records and manage the storage and retrieval of all onsite and offsite records
  • have qualifications in archives and records management (or similar)



Previous experience in a school setting would be highly advantageous.
