English Teacher - permanent and full-time

The School has an exemplary English program and is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced teacher to join our team of committed and professional staff. This is a full-time permanent position, commencing Term 1, 2023.

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • A capacity to inspire secondary age students
  • An excellent understanding of the NESA English curriculum
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recent developments in the theory/practice of senior secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to current English courses
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to work as part of a dynamic English team
  • Confidence using technology and willingness to embrace it to enhance learning 
  • Commitment to the School’s Christian framework, values and ethos

Experience in teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) would be an advantage.
