Year Coordinator

Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking to appoint a Year Coordinator (year group to be determined) to oversee the academic, co-curricular, social and pastoral wellbeing of students in a particular Year group, including the development and implementation of positive education and wellbeing programs.  The Year Coordinator is the key liaison point for parents of students in the Year group for all academic and wellbeing concerns. 

This is a permanent, full time position and will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2023.

There is a teaching load associated with this position. You will need to be able to demonstrate your teaching ability in your KLA.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to positive education and wellbeing and a genuine interest in developing skills with expertise in this area
• Be an effective classroom teacher with an excellent understanding of the curriculum
• Be confident in differentiating curriculum in the classroom
• Have a passion for your KLA, and a creative and enthusiastic teaching style; and
• Enjoy working in a committed and professional team within the Christian ethos of the school

Essential criteria:

• Qualification in Education and registration with NESA;
• Being proactive and innovative; and
• Ability to work in a collaborative team.
