This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, engaging educator to further develop and enhance the Physical Education and Sport program in Junior School.
The Physical Education/Sport Teacher position is a full-time, ongoing position, commencing in Term 1 2023.
Selection criteria
Applicants should provide evidence of their experience/capacity to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a Bachelor of Education or equivalent and have relevant experience.
- Satisfactory VIT registration and current first aid qualifications (including anaphylaxis management) are required.
- Must be eligible to work within Australia.
- An understanding of, and experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) would be an advantage.
- Applicants must have a demonstrable passion for working with children; to develop their learning skills and social confidence and be willing to work as part of a positive and supportive team to achieve the College’s aims and goals.
- Personal commitment to child safety and protecting children, and to observing child safe practices.
