The opportunity 

Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It provides education for over 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme.

We are seeking a proactive and innovative leader for our Mathematics faculty for Year 7-13.  Responsible for the success of the faculty, you will lead a passionate team of teachers and curriculum leaders to provide outstanding results for our students across middle and senior schools.  As part of the leadership team of the school you will build strong relationships within Kristin and the wider communities. Utilising strong business acumen skills, you will be fiscally responsible for the budget and successful outcomes of the faculty.    

Important Skills

This role requires an experienced teacher who is knowledgeable in their curricular, passionate about innovative student initiatives, tech savvy and committed to Kristin’s values; “Progress with vision, integrity and love”. Training in the IB or NCEA curriculum is provided.

You will also be experienced in leading and developing people, have a track record in curriculum development and innovative student initiatives.
