St Leonard’s College long been at the forefront of educational innovation and curriculum development; in 1972 we became the first single-sex independent school in the Victoria to introduce coeducation, and in 1982 we became the first Victorian school to offer the choice of the VCE or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme as pathways to tertiary education. Today our programs continue to be informed by world's best practice and action research. This role is for a proficient and inspirational teacher of Mathematics. The position will suit a teacher who has the knowledge and experience to teach Mathematics from years 7 to 12 (12 to 18 year olds). Involvement in teaching International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and/or VCE Mathematics or their equivalent would be considered important to the role. Other skills and experiences would include; qualifications in Mathematics and Mathematical teaching; experience in curriculum implementation and leading teams; the innovative use of ICT in the Mathematics classroom.
