Full-time Permanent Position Commencing Term 1, 2020

Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12 situated in Adelaide. Pembroke School offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Diploma and the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

We are seeking an innovative and highly experienced educator of Design and Technology who has a genuine interest in Curriculum Development and enjoys collaborating and working as part of a vibrant team. The successful applicant must be an engaging practitioner who prides themselves on being an effective communicator and building strong relationships with their students. The role will include teaching Year 7-12 students across our Middle and Senior School campuses.

Applicants should have an excellent understanding of the new ACARA Technology curriculum and proven teaching experience working within the contexts of both Materials and Systems & Control products. The ability to teach advanced technologies including CAD/CAM, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and CNC Milling is essential. Experience in teaching Robotics, Scratch and Programming in Python would be an advantage.

The Department is enjoying the new state of the art Technology, Science and Visual Art building which opened in Term 3 this year, offering opportunities for collaborative projects at the Middle School.
