The Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for this part-time, (approximately 0.5 FTE) ongoing position in our Languages Faculty to commence the beginning of Term 1, 2020. The successful applicant will be able to teach Chinese from Year 7 to Year 12. As an exemplary classroom practitioner they will demonstrate a collaborative approach to their teaching and a passion for their subject area.

Appropriate academic qualifications and teacher training, as well as a sound understanding of current educational trends and learning styles are required.

All teaching staff members are expected to take part in the whole life of the School including participation in pastoral care and involvement in co-curricular activities.

Eligibility for registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute which includes a Working with Vulnerable People check are conditions of employment. A current first aid certificate is desirable.
