About the Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Head of Mathematics. This academic leadership position will commence in late January 2020.

The Mathematics Department aims to develop and enhance our student’s confidence and enjoyment in doing mathematical activities, their knowledge, skills and understanding of syllabus-based content as well as their awareness of the place of mathematics in solving problems everyday.

About you:

You will:

• have appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position

• have a successful background in leading colleagues to achieve excellence in learning and teaching

• be a dynamic and successful classroom practitioner with experience in leading others in the development and implementation of rigorous and innovative learning and teaching programs

• have a sound understanding of the learning needs of boys

• exploit technologies to enhance the learning and teaching

• work effectively as a leader and member of an enthusiastic team

• show a genuine appreciation and commitment to pastoral care of boys

• participate in the College’s co-curricular program.
