Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Pembroke School offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Diploma and the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher with proven expertise in Legal Studies and some combination of the following subjects to join our Business Faculty: Business and Enterprise, Accounting, Economics. Legal Studies teachers with specialties in other curriculum areas are also encouraged to apply. The successful applicant for this position will need to demonstrate the capacity to teach Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies within the SACE program as well as other Middle and Senior secondary subjects. They will be provided with significant support within a well-established and engaging teaching program. There are excellent ICT facilities and access to an extensive range of current resources.

The Business Faculty at Pembroke offers a broad range of subjects covering Years 10 to 12. At Year 10, Commerce is offered as an elective subject. In Years 11 and 12 the faculty offers subjects in both the SACE and IB Diploma programs. In SACE this includes Accounting, Business and Enterprise, Economics and Legal Studies. Economics (HL and SL) is offered within the IB. In the majority of these Senior School subjects there are multiple classes, providing opportunities for staff to work collaboratively with other specialist subject teachers.

The Business faculty consists of 6 staff members, many of whom teach across multiple subjects. There is shared belief amongst faculty staff that differentiation in learning and assessment is essential and that technology be integrated into the learning process. The faculty environment is a very supportive one and sharing of resources and approaches to teaching is commonplace.
