Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Pembroke School offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Diploma and the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

The Assistant Head of Middle School Mathematics has an important role in supporting the Head of Middle School Mathematics in the management of curriculum and the delivery of learning experiences that enhance students’ understanding of mathematics. We are seeking an accomplished educator with excellent communication, leadership and team management skills with the ability to enthuse students in their study of Mathematics. The successful applicant will be a highly able and qualified teacher, familiar with the Australian Curriculum and well-suited to teaching Year 7-12 students on our Middle and Senior School campuses.

The Mathematics Department at Pembroke School is a group of approximately 20 specialist Mathematics teachers who work in an environment that emphasises teamwork, collaboration and support. The Australian Curriculum is taught from Years 7 to 10, where classes are organised into ability-based streams to aid with enrichment and remediation. There is an extensive acceleration program for the higher ability streams, and small lower level classes to cater for the needs of students requiring additional support. In Years 11 and 12, SACE and IB Diploma courses are offered.
