The Friends’ School, Hobart, Tasmania is a pre K - 12 coeducational residential and day school, under the auspices of The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

After many years of dedicated service to The Friends’ School, Mary-Margaret Gibson is retiring as Head of Morris at the end of 2018.

The successful applicant will be responsible to the Principal for the overall educational leadership, administration, pastoral care and student management of Morris (Kindergarten to Year 6), a section of The Friends’ School with an enrolment of approximately 420 students. This role also has oversight of the learning program at our early learning centre, Friends’ Early Years. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding educator who will be supportive of the Quaker values on which the School is based.
