Canberra Grammar School is a co-educational Pre-School to Year 12 Independent Anglican School offering outstanding academic education, co-curricular opportunities and pastoral care to day and boarding students of all backgrounds and faiths within a community guided by Christian values.

The Head of Student House has specific responsibility for leadership of their House; working in collaboration with the other Heads of Student Houses to build and maintain a culture of positive peer support, student leadership and student service learning within the Primary School. As a leader of the House, they also play a proactive role in enhancing staff collaboration and connection beyond teacher teams and the forming of collegial connections across the School. The Head of Student House is allocated to a cohort teaching team and in that capacity acts as an understudy to the Learning Leader while also taking a proactive role in the promotion of school identified student wellbeing initiatives.

The Head of Student House reports directly to the Director of Student Operations and Director of Action and Service. The Head of Student House is a member of the Extended Primary School Leadership Team.
