About the roles

  • 4 Junior School Classroom teaching roles (3 are one-year contracts, 1 is an ongoing position)
  • 1 Junior School French teacher (one-year contract)

Our Junior School is an authorised IB World School, teaching the Primary Years Programme.

We are seeking dynamic, experienced classroom teachers to join an enthusiastic, engaged, professional team.

Successful applicants will:

  • be all-round professionals, dedicated to continuing professional development;
  • demonstrate excellence in improving student learning and wellbeing outcomes;
  • demonstrate how their teaching practice incorporates a sound evidence-base.;
  • have the capacity to inspire young learners,
  • have sound knowledge of the NESA syllabus outcomes for Primary Education;
  • understand Guided Inquiry and be able to successfully implement it in the classroom;
  • have strong IT skills especially in areas of web-based activities.

It is preferable that the successful applicants regularly use electronic resources in the classroom.

Applicants must be accredited with NESA (or be eligible for accreditation) and hold an appropriate tertiary qualification.

Successful applicants will need a current working with children check.

It would be beneficial for applicants to have experience with the Primary Years’ Programme (International Baccalaureate).
