Pembroke School is a co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding School from Early Learning Centre to Year 12. Pembroke School offers the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the IB Diploma and the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging teacher of Middle School Drama. The successful candidate will be working with a range of students from Years 7-10 across the Middle School campuses. They will have a passion for teaching Drama and the Creative Arts and will be easily approachable and able to relate well to students and parents. The ability to teach Creative Arts/Film is desirable and will be highly regarded. There may be the opportunity to increase the FTE for candidates who are able to contribute to curriculum areas other than Drama and Film.

In Drama, students enjoy a rich and varied performance programme ranging from Middle School Workshops and Productions to the Senior School and Year 12 Productions. Students are also given opportunities to participate in special events in the wider community such as the Adelaide Fringe and Cabaret Festival. At every year level students are introduced to film making culminating in the annual Unreel Film Festival which showcases outstanding student films. Attendance at professional theatre and film productions and opportunities to work with industry professionals are highlights of the programme.

The Arts at Pembroke provides a variety of opportunities for students to enjoy a rich creative life. Focus is placed on enjoyment of new experiences, exploration of artistic processes and development of specific skills, with emphasis on both broad participation and a high degree of artistic excellence.
