St Leonard’s College has long been at the forefront of educational innovation and curriculum development; in 1972 we became the first single-sex independent school in the Victoria to introduce coeducation, and in 1982 we became the first Victorian school to offer the choice of the VCE or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme as pathways to tertiary education. This role is for a dedicated and inspirational teacher of Mathematics. The position will suit a teacher who has the ability to teach Mathematics from years 7 to 12. Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) and experience in teaching VCE Mathematics or their equivalent would be considered an advantage.
Other skills and experiences would include; qualifications in Mathematics and Mathematical teaching; experience in curriculum implementation and leading teams; the innovative use of ICT in the Mathematics classroom.
The is a permanent full-time position commencing Friday 18 January 2019 with new staff induction.
