ACG Parnell College is located in Parnell, an inner-city area of Auckland. The school is spread over three campuses to allow for a specialist learning environment for every stage of education. The premises include a wide range of specialist facilities, including a gymnasium, a large library and cafeteria, sophisticated art, technology and computer rooms, drama and music rooms and laboratories.
The School offers a dual academic pathway of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) from Primary, and a choice of Cambridge or the International Baccalaureate (IB) from Senior School. ACG Parnell College students have enjoyed exceptional academic success, with a University Entrance rate of 99%.

IB Diploma curriculum The global nature of the IB Diploma is a key feature. The programme is geared to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed. Students are encouraged to reflect on the nature of knowledge, complete independent research and undertake a community-minded project. The curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the Core Programme. The IB Diploma Core Programme TOK - Theory of Knowledge encourages students to reflect on the nature of knowledge by critically examining ways of knowing (perception, emotion, language and reason) and different kinds of knowledge (scientific, mathematical and historical). CAS - Creativity, Activity, Service delivers experiential learning through tasks beyond the classroom. The Extended Essay – Students investigate a special interest topic, developing the independent research and writing skills expected at tertiary level.
