"PLC is a girls' school founded in 1875 for students from early learning/prep to Year 12, with a state-of-the-art new Boarding House available for Years 7 to 12. Students from the College were the first women admitted to the University of Melbourne and were the first women to graduate from the Faculties of Medicine and Law.

Diploma Programme (DP)

Since 1875 PLC has been a recognised leader in the education of girls and their preparation for tertiary studies. Located in Burwood, 15 kilometres from the centre of Melbourne, it offers day and boarding facilities (80 beds) on 18 hectares of landscaped gardens. Our highly professional teaching staff, qualified Counsellors and Careers Guidance staff encourage and support students as they aim to achieve personal goals and academic success. While the CollegeÃ?s educational vision is based on a Christian world view, students of all faiths are warmly welcomed. Our IB program appeals to both local and overseas students.
