About the role
This is an opportunity for an innovative, talented, and passionate HSIE (Business Studies, Economics, Geography and Legal Studies) Teacher to join a supportive and engaging work environment that fosters diversity, wellbeing, and professional growth.
The role will require you to understand the content and structure of the curriculum and demonstrate a commitment to classroom teaching strategies which identify different learning styles, and encourages students’ to become reflective, self-motivated learners. You will complete regular reporting and analysis of data to inform your teaching practices and deliver quality teaching and learning experiences to all students in your classroom.
Dependent upon the successful candidate’s availability, the School can accommodate a start date across Semester 2 2024 or a Term 1 2025 start.
About you
The successful applicant will understand inquiry-based learning, have the ability to engage students in critical thinking and be experienced in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
We are seeking an innovative educator with excellent communication and relationship building skills and the desire to work in a dynamic and diverse environment. Knowledge of the Australian/NSW/IB curriculums would be advantageous.
Successful applicants will have a willingness and capacity to actively engage in the co-curricular and pastoral care programs at the School.
