Behind every great school is a great team of people. We would love you to join our team at Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland. Where you are teaching students who are genuinely excited to learn. Sound appealing? We are one of New Zealand’s leading independent girls’ schools, with an outstanding reputation for our approach to curriculum design and learning. We welcome day students and boarders from preschool, right through to Year 13. Our academic record stands for itself, but Dio stands for so much more. We believe that education is an adventure involving creativity, imagination and discovery.

Inspiring adventures. Lasting memories. Real-world learning.

We’re now on the lookout for a passionate and highly organised EOTC Coordinator to lead the planning, organising, and smooth delivery of our EOTC programmes. He wā pai tēnei ki te hono mai ki tētahi tūranga kawea te mātauranga ki waho o te akomanga!

About us

Dio is a high-performing independent Anglican school where girls thrive academically, athletically, and culturally. With world-class facilities, a spirit of innovation, and a strong sense of community, we empower our students to develop skills for life in an ever-changing world.

Mō te tūranga | About the role:

From local field trips to our exciting annual EOTC Camp Week, you’ll be the driving force behind the safe, seamless, and inspiring delivery of all EOTC activities across the school.
You’ll:
• Coordinate and oversee all school EOTC events, including day trips, overnight excursions, and the much-anticipated camp week.
• Manage Health & Safety requirements to the highest standard.
• Collaborate with staff, students, and external providers to make every trip memorable and meaningful.
• Lead the planning and logistics, keeping everything on budget, on time, and on track.

This role is at its busiest between November and March (school term time), but you’ll have the support of an EOTC Administrator to help with the detail. If you enjoy working at pace and love bringing big experiences to life, this is the job for you.

• Top-notch communication and relationship-building skills.

• Calm, solutions-focused thinking under pressure.
• Project management skills, with budget and timeline know-how.
• Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and Ministry of Education EOTC guidelines.
• An Outdoor Education or teaching qualification (and ideally an understanding of how EOTC links to the curriculum).
• Bonus points for Duke of Edinburgh Award programme management experience.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offer:
• Opportunities to grow and develop professionally.
• Free access to our fitness centre and pool.
• Access to a covered staff parking on site.
• Competitive remuneration.
• A truly stunning and inspiring work environment.
