CREST Education comprises of two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School.

Are you a passionate educator ready to lead and inspire through Physical and Health Education? Rivercrest Christian College is in search of an accomplished and dedicated Curriculum Leader – Physical and Health Education to join our team on a fixed term arrangement

This role will see you leading the Year 6-12 Physical and Health Education curriculum team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • a desire to teach in an environment where both Christian values and the development of the whole child are valued
  • proven experience teaching Physical and Health Education, ideally within an International Baccalaureate or inquiry-based learning context
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and curriculum coordination experience.
  • ability to mentor and PHE staff to deliver engaging, inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.
  • proven experience driving curriculum review, planning and development
  • contribution to building a nurturing and compassionate focused education setting, where every student is able to develop their independence, initiative, learning and are faith connected
  • ability to collaborate and contribute to a strong collegial culture where teachers have a shared commitment to improvement and open to feedback from others.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
