We are seeking a Junior IT Service Engineer to join our friendly and professional Information Technology team on a full-time, permanent basis, commencing as soon as possible.

About the role
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Junior IT Service Engineer provides frontline technical support to staff and students via the Service Desk, with a primary focus in the Junior School.
- You will be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality, responsive IT support across the school, including
- Providing first-level IT support to staff and students
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and device issues
- Supporting Apple (iOS/macOS) and Windows 11 environments
- Assisting with device deployment and application management using JAMF Pro
- Supporting audio-visual systems and school events
- Logging, tracking and resolving Service Desk requests
- Maintaining IT equipment and workspaces
- Contributing to continuous improvement of IT services
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with people, problem-solving, and developing their technical skills in a real-world environment.
About you
We are ideally looking for a junior or early-career IT professional who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a strong service mindset. You will have:
- Experience in IT Support or face-to-face customer service role
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 and iOS / MacOS
- Basic understanding of AV systems and troubleshooting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and grow your technical capability
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Experience in a school or education environment is not required — training and support will be provided.
