Library Assistant

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students, with three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.

Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Library Assistant to join the Library team working across both the Palmerston and Leanyer campuses.

Library Assistants support the relevant Teacher Librarian in the daily operations of the Resource Centres/Libraries across the College by providing general administrative and hands-on support. They have an important part to play in supporting teachers in the delivery of high quality teaching and learning programs to students at Good Shepherd.

The ideal candidates would have experience in a similar role in a school environment, have an interest in early childhood and primary literature and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
