Chinese Teacher

All students at Wenona study a Language from K-10. This role will inspire our students to develop a love of the Chinese language, which will continue in future classes. Wenona has a large Languages program with classes at Stage 6 in most of our 6 languages, including Extension level classes.

Key priorities for the role include:

• Teach and aspire to the standards articulated in the Wenona Effective Teaching Cycle in collaboration with our team of professional educators
• Planning and implementing authentic assessments that informs teaching and learning
• Providing pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of young people
• Facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement in the classroom and beyond

This is a temporary part-time role (0.4 FTE), commencing Term 1 2025.
