Teacher – French
Due to expansion of our Junior School Languages Programme and with the introduction to the International Baccalaureate (PYP) framework from 2025, we are now seeking a fixed-term, part-time Teacher of French.
Our ideal candidate will have taught French within an Independent School, (Years PP–7), with excellent knowledge of, and experience with, the Australian Curriculum for French, and within the context of a girl’s school environment. This position will teach between a 0.4 and 0.5 FTE across two (2) or three (3) days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the Junior School (PP – 6), there is possibility for timetable load to teach into Middle Years (Year 7).
You will play an important role in shaping and enhancing our teaching and learning strategies within languages, ensuring they are aligned with the Australian Curriculum and/or the International Baccalaureate (PYP) framework. Collaboration with staff will be key as you drive effective curriculum delivery, integrate best practices, and create a dynamic and engaging environment for our students.

It is a mandatory requirement to hold the appropriate tertiary qualifications and current Queensland Teacher Registration (QCT).
Employment Classification
The salary and conditions of employment for Academic staff are in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) Enterprise Agreement 2021, as varied or replaced from time-to-time.
