Social Science Teacher
Rangitoto College is looking for a Social Science teacher, ideally of Sociology/Senior Social Science, to join our energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Social Science department on an LTR contract commecing Term 2 2025 or later by negotiation and ending at the end of Term 1 2026. In addition to experienced teachers, we welcome applications from beginning or early-career teachers, who can take advantage of our outstanding PCT programme.
Applicants should state all of their senior subject specialties. An ability to teach across two or more specialties would be advantageous.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ collective agreement (STCA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/ as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
