About the Role
The Child Care Worker (Certificate III Qualified) is directly responsible to the Director of the ELC and is expected to assist in the development and implementation of the childcare program within the ELC. The Child Care Worker will be required to have or be actively working towards attaining the AQF Certificate III in Children’s Services qualification.
This position is a full-time fixed term contract until 05 December 2025.
Work Pattern: from 8:00am until 4:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 8:00am – 4:30pm Wednesday, in accordance with the published term dates.
Key Duties
- Positively interact with children and give each child individual attention and comfort as required
- Assist the implementation of daily routines whilst ensuring a safe, healthy and clean environment for the children
About You
- Excellent time-management and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong professional rapport with multiple stakeholders.
- A high level of interpersonal skills, a willingness to be an active team member and contribute to the broader fabric of the School.
- Extensive knowledge of operations and co-curriculum development.
- Ability to think strategically to effectively plan for future co-curricular requirements and possibilities.
- A demonstrated clarity of educational purpose, vision, and engagement with our School Values.
- Certificate III in Children Services (required).
- Currently holds a current Working with Children Check (required).
- Previous Experience working within a Child Care Facility (highly desirable).
