About the Roles
We are seeking dynamic and committed educators to fill a range of 3-year PYP leadership positions (commencing 2026) across our Tarneit and Mambourin campuses, each attached to an ongoing teaching role.
Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator, Tarneit Campus
The PYP Coordinator is a key curriculum leadership role that develops, coordinates and monitors the IB PYP across the Primary Years. The PYP Coordinator should have proven teaching ability and be able to act as a pedagogical leader of the Primary Years Programme. The IB sees the responsibility for pedagogical leadership within the school as being a shared responsibility, to include the PYP Coordinator, Head of Learning and members of the pedagogical leadership team. This team at Good News Lutheran College comprises of the Head of Learning, Deputy Principal, MYP and PYP Coordinators, Learning Enrichment Coordinator, VCE Coordinator and Digital Learning Coordinator. The PYP Coordinator is expected to display pedagogical leadership and to promote creative, innovative thinking among colleagues in regard to curriculum, assessment and reporting.
We are currently seeking candidates for the roles as below:
- Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator, Tarneit Campus
- Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator, Mambourin Campus
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) or Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- Strong pedagogical leadership capabilities
- Capacity to inspire and support staff in effective instructional practice
- Excellent knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in leadership and cross-functional teams
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills
- Alignment with the College’s Christian ethos and values
