Rangitoto College is looking for Secondary teachers to join our energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Kura. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated teachers who will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment.
In addition to experienced teachers, we welcome applications from beginning or early-career teachers, who can take advantage of our outstanding PCT programme.

Rangitoto College is a high-performing school that aims to give every student the opportunity to thrive and excel. We do this by establishing and maintaining optimal conditions for learning, utilising a Knowledge Rich Curriculum and Mātauranga Māori, and enacting research-informed Teaching Principles.
In addition to NCEA, the college also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma and there is the potential for the right candidate to teach a class within this programme.
Teachers at the college are expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school.
Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ collective agreement. (CA)https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/. as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329.00, and a top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the SCA.
