Head of Department – Languages
QACI is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and is proud to uphold the values of an IB education. Our students exclusively study the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum in Year 11 & 12, and Australian Curriculum in Year 10. Languages studied include French, Korean, Mandarin and Spanish. Head of Department Languages will also support our IB Core – Extended Essay. The IB Diploma Program enables learners to work toward achievements based on merit in a non-competitive environment. Through the IB Diploma curriculum, students can explore their potential and flourish in a culture that fosters creativity, critical thinking and innovation.

As the Head of Department – Languages, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school department and curriculum focus in developing and providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups.
- Be future-oriented and strategic.
- Understand legislation and policies impacting on the school department, students and staff.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the school department to achieve goals.
