Are you our new BI Reporting Analyst? We have a 12-month Fixed Term Contract available- starting in late July or August 2025.

We are looking for a switched-on Reporting Analyst who can use a mix of business and technical skills to analyse, extract and transform data to meet operational and management reporting requirements? We work five days a week in the office.
Our close-knit Business Information Management Team are responsible for the school’s client-facing systems including the Student and Learning Management systems.
As our Reporting Analyst you will be involved in:
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Developing reports and dashboards
• Developing user forms for both the windows and web environments, adding new functionality and software customisations.
• Designing, implementing and managing SQL objects including stored procedures, triggers and SSIS packages
• Identifying, evaluating and implementing new technologies to advance business intelligence
• SQL database administration and upgrades.
• Supporting the School’s core student and business management system, including problem resolution
We are looking for your strong analytical communication skills
This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong sense of curiosity and eye for detail, who has the following skills, knowledge or experience:
• 2+ years developing reports using SQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports and Power BI
• Experience using other Microsoft BI tools – Analysis and Integration Services
• Experience in analysing business information needs and the ability to translate them into business information requirements
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing and data cubes
• Diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Demonstrable scripting experience, preferably Transact-SQL
• Be tertiary qualified with a business or programming degree
• Ideally have Synergetic or other student management system knowledge, though not essential
