LIBRARY TECHNICIAN

Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College is an independent school for girls in years 7 – 12. The College is seeking a Library Technician to join our collaborative and friendly Library in Term 3, 2025. Reporting to the Library Manager, this is a full time (5 day per week) position working term time only (38 weeks) playing an important part in helping to maintain the processes and procedures that ensure that the Monte library is able to meet the information and resource requirements of College staff and students. An enthusiasm for using technology and an ability to assist students and staff with technology and library systems is essential.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working in a library environment or currently undertaking library studies
  • A genuine knowledge of and interest in literature, and a desire to inspire a love of reading amongst our students
  • An ability to use circulation data to inform resource acquisition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
