The school is looking for a professional and compassionate Inclusive Learning and Enrichment Assistant to join the team in a fixed-term capacity.

  • Must provide an Australian Police Check prior to commencement.

The position
The school is looking for a professional and compassionate Inclusive Learning and Enrichment Assistant to join the team.  Duties for the role include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with subject teachers to provide support for students with diverse learning needs as required by the Head of Inclusive Learning and Enrichment
  • Duty of care responsibility for groups of students, which may include supervision of small group and/or individual testing
  • Attend learning support team meetings to contribute to case load management of students and implementation of intervention strategies
  • Assist in the implementation of educational programs, including but not limited to senior studies support and the provision of individual in-class
  • Make a contribution to senior and junior students during key transition points
  • Observe students’ performance, and record and update student data as required by the Head of Inclusive Learning and Enrichment
  • Prepare, develop and maintain materials, teaching aids and resources as directed by subject teachers or the Head of Inclusive Learning and Enrichment.
  • Liaise with teachers and Heads of Faculty to deliver academic adjustments and supervise students in alternative assessment settings
  • Participate in the school’s pastoral care program as required
  • There is an after school requirement during term time for small group support
  • Undertake other duties as may be required by the Principal

This is a fixed-term position covering 5 weeks of leave (with the possibility of an extension).  The anticipated dates of the role are 18 August 2025 to 25 September 2025.  The role is part-time and the hours will be 8.00am to 3.20pm Monday to Thursday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, which equates to 0.7 FTE.
